Health Care Reform for a Better Future

The term health care reform is used while talking about creating a policy for health concerns or making changes in the existing one. The main uses of this type of reform are to-
·         Enhance the quality of health care while decreasing the expenditure
·         Make the contact to specialists in different sectors of health care accessible
·         Facilitate better care to the citizens
·         Make the availability of many options for healthcare providers  from which one can choose
·         Expand the reach of good quality medical services to a larger population through the various insurance programmes and companies.

For any country to grow in terms of strength and power, it is essential that its citizens are healthy and secure. This can only be obtained with a well managed, complete health system. Health care reform needs to be given sincere attention across the world for a better and brighter future for all. Sadly, the health care conditions in India are not very good. There has always been a high rate of absenteeism due to health issues. The government facilities have not been adequate to suit the needs of the ailing. The private hospitals have gradually taken over the public hospitals but are expensive for the lower sections of the society.

With its gradual efforts towards health care reform, India has made a great progress in providing medical coverage to a large group of people. Despite these efforts, the country still lags behind and requires putting in even more emphasis on the reforms. India can improve in providing vaccination to young children and can help in preparing the new generation to be free from a lot of diseases.  Experiments can be done with different mediums to ensure the availability of facilities to all. Every sector should be explored to find the best possible solution to deal with and prevent the citizens from many ailments.
