Insurance a necessity or just a useless security?

Everybody of us is at some point of time diagnosed with some kind of medical problem. We have all faced minor problems if not anything serious. However, conditions like diabetes and blood pressure are not any more uncommon problems and there are many who are affected by it. What all measures do we usually take to combat the onset of a disease? Are we always conscious about unhealthy lifestyle? Do we ever wonder or try to figure out what could be the cause of increasing medical cases? The answer we all know. It always when something serious changes are life, we realise the need to take steps. This approach definitely does but little good.
For the sake of affordable healthcare and improved medical services, people often travel to other countries; this is termed as medical tours.  Mexico, India, Iran, Costa Rica, China and Thailand are some of the countries which offer world class yet reasonable medical services. On one outlook if we see that medical facilities are available in India, they however are cheap only for individuals availing them from other countries, for much of the Indian population, these health facilities are not yet accessible due to financial constraints. Also public financing is quite low, reason why many individuals have to use money from their own savings and in case of an emergency a huge amount is used up. It is very important for the common man also to have an access to the health facilities as it would help them make better use of their savings and make their lives better.
With due attention to all what we have discussed in this blog so far, we can safely conclude that Insurance is not just another security option but a necessity to keep ourselves safe against future events. There are many different covers available to suit the different needs of people. Overseas health insurance, maternity health coverage, diabetic covers are few of the health insurance options. Don’t wait for a mishap, plan for it now.
